Arrow Films are pleased to announce that the highly acclaimed French cop-thriller Braquo will be released as a 2-disc DVD Box-Set on 13th February 2012.

Since airing on the FX channel, Braquo has mesmerised UK viewers with its dark, violent and realistic story-lines. Hailed as one of the most gripping and brutal police series of the last decade, fans of The Killing, The Wire and The Shield will love Braquo.

Co-directed by world-famous filmmaker, and former police officer, Olivier Marchal alongside Frédéric Schoendoerffer, Braquo (slang for "Heist") follows a squad of Parisian law enforcers who exist in the blurred boundaries at the very edge of the law, often using violence and intimidation in order to get the job done. The lives of these officers change radically when their leader, falsely accused of corruption, commits suicide. Determined to clear his name they begin an investigation of their own, only to find that the police department itself stands in their way.

Driven by adrenaline and a thirst for justice, the remaining officers must turn their backs on the laws they have sworn to enforce if they are to uncover the truth. Facing constant danger from all sides - with the two most likely outcomes being imprisonment or death - the stakes couldn't be higher, but that merely serves to crank up the tension in this acclaimed series.

Braquo stars a wealth of French acting talent, including Jean-Hugues Anglade, Nicolas Duvauchelle, Joseph Malerba, and Karole Rocher.
