Based on the bestselling book Although of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself, this smartly written and movingly acted tale brings to life the five-day interview between Rolling Stone reporter David Lipsky (Eisenberg) and acclaimed novelist David Foster Wallace (Segel), which took place right after the 1996 publication of Wallace's groundbreaking novel Infinite Jest.
Directed by James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now, Smashed), The End Of The Tour features a top-notch supporting cast, including Joan Cusack (TV's Shameless, The Perks of Being a Wallflower), Anna Chlumsky (TV's Veep, In the Loop), Mamie Gummer (Ricki and the Flash, Side Effects), Mickey Sumner (Frances Ha, CBGB) and Ron Livingston (Digging for Fire, The Conjuring).
