A Golden Trailer Award Winner, Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is the hilarious adventure comedy you'd expect and more from America's favourite buds. When a misplaced bong pipe in an aeroplane toilet packs Harold and Kumar off to Guantanamo Bay, plans for a quiet trip to Amsterdam turn into a quest to clear their names of terrorist charges and secure their freedom! The sequel to the hit comedy Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies, Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay is released by Entertainment in Video and is available to buy and rent on DVD and buy on Blu-Ray on 22nd September 2008.

Written and Directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay stars John Cho (Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies, American Pie trilogy, TV's Ugly Betty) and Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies, The Namesake, TV's House) with an impressive support cast which is peppered with a slew of hilarious cameos including one from Neil Patrick Harris (TV's How I Met Your Mother).

Harold & Kumar Escape From Guanatanamo Bay picks up with our anti-heroes hours after they've landed from their previous quest, with both Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) preparing for a trip to Amsterdam so that Harold can win the heart of his crush, Maria (Paula Garces), and Kumar can achieve cannabis bliss.

But true to form, trouble begins for the duo before they even board the plane when Kumar runs into his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa (Danneel Harris), at the airport and discovers that she's about to get married! After a spot of bother with airport security personnel, Harold and Kumar finally make it on board but unable to wait six hours to get to Amsterdam, Kumar decides to test drive his home-made "smokeless" bong pipe in the aeroplane toilet. Turbulence strikes, the toilet door swings open, the bong is mistaken for a bomb and the guys are mistaken for terrorists! Instead of a leisurely trip to Amsterdam, they find themselves detained in Guantanamo Bay!

On the mission of a lifetime to clear their names of terrorist charges and secure their freedom, Harold and Kumar journey from Guantanamo Bay to Miami to Texas and to Vanessa's wedding, in an attempt to seek help from her fiancé, a well connected friend of Harold's with ties to one of America's most powerful and prominent political families.

It's an epic journey involving the Ku Klux Klan, an infamous brothel, married siblings and Neil Patrick Harris! And as if this wasn't epic enough, hot on their heels is Deputy Chief of Homeland Security Ron Fox (Rob Corddry), for whom simply hearing Harold and Kumar are suspected terrorists is enough to convict and imprison them! Despite the enormity of what's at stake, the irrepressible Kumar is happy to throw himself into life's journey's but it's this tireless proclivity combined with his desire to ruin Vanessa's wedding, that tests Harold's friendship, patience and sanity to the limits! Still, whatever doesn't kill their friendship is bound to make it stronger... right?
