Sleuth

Directed by critically-acclaimed director Kenneth Branagh, Jude Law (Closer, Cold Mountain) and two time Oscar winner Michael Caine (Hannah and Her Sisters, The Cider House Rules) join forces to dazzling effect in Nobel prizewinning Harold Pinter's sharp witted adaptation of classic 1972 thriller Sleuth, released on 28th April 2008 from Paramount Home Entertainment.

Locked up in a high-tech English manor, bound in a deadly duel of wits Andrew Wyke (Caine) and Mile Tindle (Law) come together as English gentlemen to discuss the matter of Wyke’s wife; the woman both men are sleeping with.

But as wit becomes wicked and clever becomes cut-throat, Wyke and Tindle’s game of one-upmanship spirals out of control in an escalating game of cat and mouse that can only lead to a deadly outcome.

Superbly written and engaging, Sleuth showcases the acting talent and chemistry of these two superstars of British cinema.
