Oscar winner Angelina Jolie (Tomb Raider, Girl Interrupted) delivers an emotionally-charged performance in this harrowing testament to the resilience of the human spirit in A Mighty Heart, released by Paramount Home Entertainment from 28th January 2008.

BAFTA-winning director Michael Winterbottom (Welcome to Sarajevo, The Road To Guantanamo) tells the story of Mariane Pearl (Jolie), whose husband Daniel, a Wall Street journalist played by Dan Futterman (Shooting Fish), is kidnapped in Pakistan after setting up a secret meeting with an Islamic Fundamentalist Cleric.

In the chaotic days that follow and with her husband’s life in the balance, Mariane’s desperate search for the truth takes her through a maze of false alibis, emails, phone calls and misleading information, testing her faith and determination to the limit.
