Thursday 27th

Released by Momentum Pictures on 17th March 2008 for rental and 31st March 2008 retail release, Vegas Baby is filled with comedians from the prestigious worlds of Van Wilder, Harold and Kumar, Scrubs and My Name Is Earl. Wednesday 26th

Network is proud to announce the release of Les Miserables (PG) on DVD to buy on 11th February 2008. It is a lavish adaptation of Victor Hugo’s literary masterpiece, by an inspirational cast, RRP £12.99. More details here.

Network will release the hugely popular comedy series The Rag Trade – The Complete First Lwt Series . This 2-disc set will be available to buy on DVD on 11th February 2008, RRP £19.99. This set contains all 15 episodes that comprise the first LWT series, including the Christmas Special, shown on Christmas Eve 1977. More details here.

Monday 24th

Cross yourselves and beware, the demons are coming and Momentum Pictures is serving them up to you in a double bill of ghoulish entertainment on 3rd March 2008 with the release of Dead Mary and Blackwater Valley Exorcism. Thursday 20th

It seems the grumpiness is acute – and chronic. The bad mood is no longer in remission. All the symptoms are there: the truculence, the tactlessness, the caustic take on everyone and everything. Martin Clunes is back as Doc Martin, the man whose bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. Wednesday 19th

In 1978, Robert Louis Stevenson’s celebrated novel set in the 18th century was adapted into a television series. This drama series is believed by many who have seen it to be the best adaptation of this classic story. Network is proud to announce the release of Kidnapped – The Complete Series (PG), the 13 – part adaptation on DVD as a 2 – disc set for the first time on 11th February 2008. More details here.

Tuesday 18th

Al Pacino stars in William Friedkin’s Cruising which makes its long-awaited DVD debut on 25th February 2008 as a Deluxe Edition DVD from Warner Home Video. The film is an intense thriller set against the gay S & M subculture of the late ‘70s and it prompted widespread community protests on its release in 1980. More details here.

The crinolines and corsets are tossed aside in this lavish TV adaptation of one of the most notoriously filthy novels in English literature, John Cleland's Fanny Hill. Starring Alison Steadman, Hugo Speer and Samantha Bond and introducing Rebecca Night as the eponymous Fanny, this sumptuous BBC drama, first shown on BBC 4, when it received the biggest-ever audience for the channel, will be available to buy on DVD on 21st January 2008 from Fremantle Media. Friday 14th

Starring Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher, make a date with this year’s most original and quirky comedy, Wedding Daze.
