Where the rubber meets the road and the bad guys meet the badge - that's where you'll find Officers Jon and Ponch. Jon Baker and Frank "Ponch" Poncharello roar back onto our screens to make the highway safe again on 20th August 2007 when Warner Home Video releases CHiPS: Complete First Season on DVD.

The exciting action series aired for six seasons and starred Erik Estrada ("Ponch"), Larry Wilcox ("Jon Baker") and Robert Pine ("Sgt. Joseph Getraer") with its fair share of multiple car pile-ups, high speed chases, hijacker plots and of course 1970s nostalgia.

Officer Baker and his partner Officer Poncharello were members of CHiPS, which stood for California Highway Patrol, making the freeway system in and around Los Angeles a safer place for commuters. Jon Baker was the straight-laced officer, while "Ponch" was the hunky ladies man that had female fans going wild, and together they dealt with everything that LA could throw at them – from snakes to an elephant, from speeding beauties to a spilled load of onions!
