"Dumb
And Dumber" meets "Legally Blonde" in Blonde And Blonder, released on
DVD (£12.99) by High Fliers Films on 23rd June 2008, the
madcap comedy caper starring Pamela Anderson (Scary Movie 3;
Baywatch) and Denise Richards (Edmond; Scary Movie 3) as a
pair of peroxide airheads who become mixed up in a mirthful medley of
murder, mayhem and mobsters.
Having bonded over all things pink during a frivolous flying lesson, Dee Twiddle (Pamela Anderson) and Dawn St. Dom (Denise Richards) immediately become best friends and decide to seek employment together as dancers. Their job-hunting takes them to a local strip club, where the girls unwittingly find themselves auditioning in front of the club's very recently deceased owner, who minutes earlier had become the victim of a mob hit carried out by an infamous female assassin known only as The Cat (Emmanuelle Vaugier). Mistaken for the dead man's killers by two mafia hoods (played by Kevin and John Farley), Dee and Dawn are offered a quarter of a million dollars to "take out" Asian crime lord, Mr. Wong. More than happy to oblige, the clueless cuties pack their bags, along with Dee's flatulent pet turtle, and head off to Niagara Falls for their lucrative liaison. Unfortunately, they are not about to enjoy their romantic vacation alone. On their tails are several gangsters, a host of federal agents and the real assassins, the leather catsuit-clad The Cat and her sexy sidekick, The Kit (Meghan Ory), all of whom intend to make their own deadly dates with Dee and Dawn. |
