Multi-region Codes 1
- Perform a cold start
- Power On the player and press Play and Next on
the DVD player (note that that you can also press Play and Next
on the Remote Commander)
- The language options pop up. Release the Play and Next
buttons
- Select the language between 1 and 6
Multi-region Codes 2
- Press the Repeat button on the Remote Commander
- Using the Remote Commander, enter the code below corresponding to
the region that your player is currently set to
- for Region 1 use: 2, 9, 3, 3
and 4
- for Region 2 use: 3, 8, 7, 6
and 7
- for Region 3 use: 5, 6, 7, 3
and 2
- for Region 4 use: 7, 6, 8, 8
and 4

- Turn on the player and ensure that there is no disc in
the machine
- Using the remote, in quick succession press Menu,

- Count up to fifteen before powering off the player with
the remote
If the above code fails to work then you may want to try
the following code:-
- Press the Repeat button on your remote control NB: Do not confuse
this with the Repeat A-B button
- Press the buttons 5, 7, 5, 3 and 8 on
your remote control, in order one at a time
- The numbers 02 will be displayed on the top left of your onscreen
display
- Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, 2
for region 2, and so on, or 9 for multi-region playback
- Press the Open button on your remote control
- After 15 seconds have elapsed, power off your player and then power on
your player

Further information has emerged for the very latest players. The
only drawback with the below is that it isn't held when the player is switched
off. You also need an Aiwa remote control, our forum visitor used the Aiwa
RC-7AS08:
Turn on the player
Open the DVD tray
Press Sleep on the Aiwa Remote, and you will see a cold start message
on screen
Press Clock 3 times very quickly, pressing and pressing, you will see
an adjust message on front of DVD player
Put any Region of DVD in and it will play
It may also work with other Samsung DVD-Mxxx models, but may not work
for machines with the 5.02E firmware loaded. Try the Samsung V-5000 hack,
it MAY work.
I f the player sticks on FBI Warning screens:
Press Forward Search x2 or faster, the disc should skip straight to
the main feature

Wait until the player ejects the disc, displaying an error message and
leaving the tray open.
Remove the Region 1 disc from the tray.
Press the Open/Close button on your remote control.
Wait until the display shows the words 'no disc'.
Press the buttons Time Search, 1, 1, and 9 on
your remote control in order, one at a time.
Press the Open/Close button on your remote control.
Place a Region 1 disc in the tray.
Press the Open/Close button on your remote control For newer
firmware, or if the above method fails to work Repeat steps 1-8 as then before
9. Press the buttons TV, 2, 0, and 0 on your
remote control in order, one at a time Repeat steps 10-12 as before.
Note: Earlier
firmware versions will not play The Matrix or There’s Something
About Mary but can be upgraded, firmware update does not remove hack. This
hack also removes Macrovision. This modification is only
temporary on the DVD-907 and will need reentering once the unit is
powered off.

Multi-Region:
- Turn On player and make sure there is no DVD in it and it's set to
DVD (not VCR or TV)
- Pull the power cable from the wall and back in
- Connect through AV
- Turn the power On at the machine
- Wait for no disc Display (this is the plain blue screen with the
floating logo)
- Press Subtitle button
- Press 7, 6, 8, 8 and 4
- Logo appears on left of screen (I didn't have any logo show up so I
just pushed the numbers above, waited 1/2 - 1 sec and then pressed 9 as
below)
- Press 9 and Subtitle again
- Open DVD tray from unit
- Close DVD tray into unit
- Turn Off at machine
- Unplug the unit
- All Done
