DV-P2000

Multi-Region:

  • Ensure there is no disc in the tray and that the tray is closed
  • Press Stop
  • Press Stop
  • Press Setup
  • Then key in the following 3, 8, 8, 8, 3
  • Followed by the Region you wish your player to play
    •

PH-5000, PH-5100, PH-7000, PH-9000

Multi-Region:

  • Open the players tray
  • Press 8, 9, 2, 6 ("*" will be seen on the screen)
  • Then select Region (1 to 6) or "0" for Region free
  • Press Play (the tray will close)

Notes:

  • If you key in 8, 9, 2, 6, 7 the Firmware version will be shown.
  • If you key in 8, 9, 2, 6, 7 all settings will be returned to default

PH-7100, PH-9100

Multi-Region:

  • Turn the player On
  • Press Eject on the Remote Control
  • Press 7, 4, Enter (Some Remotes use the "Select" key)
  • Set Country Code to 13 then Enter
  • Press Play
  • Put a DVD in the tray
  • Press Play

Macrovision Hack:
  • Turn the player On
  • Press Eject on the Remote Control
  • Press 7, 4, Enter (Some Remotes use the "Select" key)
  • Go to next page
  • Set Macrovision to 0

PH-7300

Multi-Region:

  • Press Setup, Pause/Still, Previous and Next
  • A service menu will be displayed
  • Select Region then Bypass

PH-7500

Multi-Region:

  • Turn On player
  • Press Eject on remote control
  • Press 8, 4, 2 and 1
  • This accesses the region code and Macrovision page where you can select and set the Country Code. Select 9 for multi-region
  • Press Select
  • Put a DVD in the tray and press Play
