DVD-V300

Multi-Region:

  • Turn On the player with no disc in the drive
  • Using the remote press Set-up
  • On the front panel press Next, Stop, Pause/Step, Previous and Next

DVD-V520, DVD-560, DVD-V562

Multi-Region:

  • Turn On the player with no disc in the drive
  • Press Set-up, Previous, Next, Previous, Next, Previous
  • Press the Right cursor until 255 appears
  • Press Set-up

If the above hack fails to work then you may wish to consider using attempting the DVD-V300 hack above

Disable Macrovision:
  • Press Set-up, Next, Previous, Next and Previous
  • Press Up and Left - you should see 4000
  • Press Up and Left until you see 3000
  • Press Set-up

DVD-V600RZ

Multi-Region:

  • Turn On the player and open the disc tray
  • On the remote press 8, 4, 2 and 1
  • This should bring up a service menu
  • Press Enter to move through the region codes or 9 to enable region bypass
