DVD-110

Multi-Region Hack 1:

  • Press 9 on the remote
  • Press Open/Close on the Remote, the tray should not open though
  • Press 5 on the remote
  • Press Mute on the remote, this should bring up the Region Selection page
  • Press Ok then Exit
  • The word ALL should appear and you will be able to play discs from any Region

VCD Hack 1:

  • Place ANY CD in the players tray
  • Press Stop button on the Remote
  • Press Menu
  • Press 9
  • Press the 1-ALL button
  • Press Open/Close
  • This should take you into a menu from which you can enable VCD playback

Multi-Region Hack 2:

  • Press the Menu button on the Remote
  • Press the 1, 6 and 7 buttons
  • Press the Mute button

VCD Hack 2:

  • Press the Open button on the Remote to open the drive tray
  • Place an audio CD in the drive tray
  • Press the Open button on the Remote to close the drive tray
  • Press the Menu button
  • Press the 1 button
  • Press the Index (1-All) button
  • Press the Open button
  • Press the 1 button

DVD-120

Multi-Region:

  • Perform ALL functions on the players front panel, NOT from the Remote Control
  • Turn the machine on
  • Press Stop, Skip and Open at the same time and hold for a few seconds
  • A Menu will appear
  • Select the region you want and play your disc
    •

DVD-122, DVD-125

Multi-Region:

  • Power on the DVD player and ensure there is no disc in the drive
  • Press Menu
  • Then press 1, 6, 7 and press Mute for ALL Regions
  • Press Exit

Disable Macrovision:
  • Insert a DVD
  • Press Stop, Bookmark and Menu
  • Press 5, 9, 7 then Exit

VCD Hack:
  • Insert a music CD
  • Press Stop, Menu, 1, Bookmark, Open
  • This will give you the option to enable or disable VCD playback

DVD-225

Multi-Region:

  • Power On the unit and Open the tray
  • Press 3, 4, 9, 7, 3 and 4 on the remote
  • Press the required region, i.e. 1 for region 1 etc, or 0 for region free

Multi-Region:

  • Turn On DVD player & Open DVD tray
  • Press Setup button on remote control
  • Key in number key 1, 3, 8 and 9 & then press Enter button
  • Use the Up/Down arrow key to select which region code you want
  • Set to 0 for no region
  • Press Enter button to confirm your setting
    •

DAV-50,DAV-70

Multi-Region:

  • Open the tray
  • Press 8, 1, 3, 2 and 8
  • The region menu will appear
  • Press Enter until region 9 is selected and press Play
  • The unit will now be multi region

VCD Playback:

  • Open the tray
  • Press 0, 0, 0, 0 and 1

DVD-3297

Multi-Region 1:

  • Key in the code 1, 3, 6 and 9 (4 xxxx's appear)
  • Wait till they disappear then press 0/10 key a zero will appear on screen you are now region free.

Multi-Region 2:

  • Make sure the disc tray is open and remove any discs from the player
  • Key in 1, 3, 6, 9 using the remote control
  • Select region 0 for a region-free setting
