Region free hacks

DVD-1

• Put the player into Standby mode, with no disc in the tray
• On the Remote Control press: 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 and 2
• Then press the zone you want: 1-4
• Power the player On
• Play the disc you want to

DVD-5

Multi-Region:

• Put the player into Standby mode with and ensure there is no disc in the tray
• Key in the following on the Remote Control: 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 and 2
• Now key in the number of the Region you require 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2 etc.
• Turn the player on
• Open the tray and play the disc of your choice

Note: that the Region code entered is stored when the player is switched off, therefore you will need to change Region for each disc. However it maybe that entering '0' for the Region code will set the player to Region free operation.

DVD-10, DVD-20, DVD-25, DVD-50

Multi-Region:

• Turn the player on
• Wait until 'No disc' is displayed
• Press the buttons 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9 and 2 on the Remote Control
• The press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, 3 for Region 3, or 4 for Region 4 etc.
• The display should now show 'Power On'

DVD-22

Multi-Region:

• Remove any discs from player
• Put player in Standby mode
• Keep Clear on remote control pressed while powering back On
• Press OSD on remote to bring up menu
• Enter the following code on remote: 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9, 0 to select region free mode (or instead of the last digit 1, 2, 3 or 4 to select region 1, 2, 3 or 4)
• The player now resets and is region free (or in one of the selected regions)
