Region free hacks

ADV-145S, ADV-147AS, ADV-141S, AMC-1883, DVCI-19S

Multi-Region:

• Power On without a disc in the player
• Press the Setup key on the remote
• Press Vol+, Vol-, Vol+ and Vol– (these are the buttons marked + & - that are under the audio key on the remote)
• This will then display region number on top right of screen
• Use the Right arrow key until 255 is displayed (the numbers 1 to 6 are the different regions and 255 is multi region)
• Press Setup to exit
• Your player is now region free

ADVR-171S

Multi-Region:

• Leave the DVD door in Open mode
• Press SetUp button
• Press number buttons 7, 2, 2 and 4
• Press the Edit button
• The region code information appears - use the up and down arrows to select your desired region (0 is all regions)
• Press Enter to confirm
