Synopsis |
|
It's a concert at the Albert Hall, it has the Corrs in it. What else do you need to know? |

The Corrs have always excelled themselves as a live band. They bring across an energy and passion on stage that they can’t get across on a produced album, which is why any recording of them performing live, is a treat to watch. |
|
This concert was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall on St. Patrick’s Day 1998, just before the Corrs hit the big time in the UK with their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams. It includes the best of their two albums Talk On Corners and Forgiven Not Forgotten. |
| Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood Mac makes several guest appearances in the concert to tie in with the release of Legacy, a Fleetwood Mac tribute album on which the Corrs perform Dreams. Mick’s drumming has always been worth watching just to see how many strange expressions he can pull. A welcome part of this DVD was the chance to listen to of the full-length versions of the instrumentals which were included but cut short on the Talk On Corners and Forgiven Not Forgotten albums. |

| The picture quality is not brilliant, so if you own the VHS video of the concert it doesn’t seem worth buying it on DVD. Also the camera work is far from the best I’ve seen. While this release does not quite match the usual visual quality of what you would expect for DVD, it is still enjoyable and well worth watching. Another DVD to watch out for if you enjoyed this one is the recently released 'The Corrs Unplugged' DVD. |
